It’s been a busy start to the week in Chicago as thousands of Democrats come together to finalize our ticket and put the finishing touches on this year’s party platform. And Pramila is working hard to put the spotlight on our movement!
Last night we heard from incredible speakers like AOC, United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain, Senator Raphael Warnock, and others. We even got a surprise appearance from Kamala Harris herself!
The highlight of the night was hearing from President Biden, whose rousing speech reminded us all that our best days are in front of us. We’re grateful for his leadership, and for his historic and selfless decision to pass the torch to Vice President Harris.
Today Pramila had the chance to speak to some very important groups doing incredible work to build progressive power across the country: MoveOn, Indivisible, and the Working Families Party. These folks are doing the hard work to organize our communities and protect our democracy, and we owe them all a huge thanks!
Tonight will have more excitement — rumor has it we’ll be hearing from Barack and Michelle Obama! And don’t forget to stay tuned later this week to hear from Tim Walz and Kamala Harris as they continue to lay out their vision for a better, fairer America.
It’s an exciting week, John, but once it’s over, we still have our work cut out for us. We must stop Donald Trump and his MAGA allies from coming back into power, and we’re counting on this people-powered movement to help.
