Dear John,

The battle for the Senate majority is heating up, so I thought I'd share an update with you before asking for your help.

The good news: In nearly every seat that we have a chance to flip, the Democratic challenger outraised the incumbent Republican this fundraising quarter.

The bad news: The GOP and their donors are taking notice and starting to spend big to hold onto their seats. Mitch McConnell's super PAC is spending $67 million to keep his power, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee announced another $33 million in ads on top of that.

We can't let Mitch McConnell buy the Senate majority. But it's going to take a surge of grassroots support to match his massive amount of outside money. Pitch in here:

The way I see it, they can have all the cash in the world, but there's something much more important that they don't have -- grassroots supporters like you.

We can take back the Senate -- but it's going to take all of us fighting as hard as we can. Will you chip in to re-elect Chris, help elect Democrats in tough races, and take back the Senate majority this November?
