John:
In a 2-page memo released yesterday, Attorney General Bill Barr instructed U.S. attorneys across the country to consider legal action against governors who issue COVID-19 orders that infringe on Americans' civil rights.
“If a state or local ordinance crosses the line from an appropriate exercise of authority to stop the spread of COVID-19 into an overbearing infringement of constitutional and statutory protections, the Department of Justice may have an obligation to address that overreach in federal court,” Mr. Barr wrote.
Do you believe that some of the COVID-19 orders have gone too far and violate constitutional rights?
Take a minute to let us know.
Thank you for being part of our team and for doing so much to help us fight for America's future.
Sincerely,
