Dear Friend,
Last week we launched JewsForKamala.com
and we’ve received hundreds of submissions!
Scroll down to read a few that are inspiring our team as we meet
with leaders at the Democratic National Convention.
The rabbis of my childhood
infused my love for Judaism through a social justice lens. My mother
influenced me in similar ways. If she were still alive, she would be
working for Kamala now! — Mona
I am queer and Jewish. Kamala is fighting for
equality for all Americans. She embraces the diversity of America,
respecting and lifting up all people. — Fred
As Torah says about judges, she
will not side with the rich or the poor but will make fair policy
decisions to benefit everyone. I do not understand how any religious
person can support her opponent who is clearly incapable of making
ethical decisions. Jews have always thrived in America because of its
pluralism. We need a president like Kamala Harris to keep that
pluralism alive. — Alan
I’m generally not a fan of politicians, but I vote
for the ones I believe we can push to make our Jewish values a
reality. While Harris hasn’t always been there for progressive issues,
her campaign appears to be listening. And we’ll never push or convince
that other guy. — Ben
Fascism is not an option, nor
is racism, bigotry, poverty, misogyny and exploitation. Biden, Kamala
and Walz need to keep up the fight for a country built on the
principles that inspired my grandparents to leave Eastern Europe and
immigrate to the USA in pursuit of freedom, equality and social
justice. — Nadine
We built JewsForKamala.com
so our movement can feel connected to other fierce and resilient Jews
and allies who are joining together to build a future where we are all
safe and free and thriving.
We’re
lit up reading these stories, but your response is missing: add your
