Hillary Clinton knows a thing or two about Democratic National Conventions. She has spoken at past DNCs as a first lady, a senator, a secretary of state, and as the first woman nominated by a major party to be president of the United States.
Last night, she spoke to us as a Democrat with a crystal-clear message: In our fight to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this November, WE MUST KEEP GOING.
Here's what Sec. Clinton said:
"No matter what the polls say, we can't let up… We have to fight for the truth. We have to fight for Kamala as she will fight for us. Because you know what? We are uplifting our nation. We're opening the promise of America wide enough for everyone."
Good polls are not enough. Ratings shifts are not enough. Having one candidate be a prosecutor and the other be a felon is not enough. We have to fight like our freedom depends on it. Because it does.
