Hi Friend,
At our next Page Turners Book Club [[link removed]] —the last of the year!— we will discuss Intertwined: Women, Nature, and Climate Justice by Rebecca Kormos.
In this 2024 publication, wildlife biologist Rebecca Kormos interviews women dedicated to combating the climate crisis. She illustrates how empowering women can significantly alter our path away from catastrophic environmental degradation.
We're particularly excited about the chapter highlighting the journey of one of our Global Partners [[link removed]] , Colombia-based Women for Conservation (W4C) [[link removed]] . Founded by mother-daughter duo Sara Inés Lara and Isabella Cortes Lara, W4C provides opportunities for women to build a sustainable livelihood through nature conservation programs, training workshops, and improving access to family planning services.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 7 th , at 4 pm ET/1 pm PT. We look forward to diving into this book and sharing insights!
