On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris announced her economic agenda — and it includes one of the policies I’m most passionate about.
As part of their plan, the Harris-Walz Administration would reinstate the expanded Child Tax Credit from 2021.
Before Republicans let it expire, the tax credit cut child poverty in the United States nearly in half. It benefitted children all across the country — including one million in Colorado alone. But when it expired, millions of kids were plunged back into poverty.
With this policy, we can give American families the breathing room they need and put kids first.
