I’m going to be honest with you, team: When it comes to the climate crisis, there’s possibly never been a more important election year.

July was the hottest month in California -- ever. Across the country and entire planet, communities are facing higher temperatures, record flooding, and bigger and stronger storms. I know it can be hard to hear time and again about the impacts of the climate crisis, but the good news is there’s still so much we can do to protect our climate and keep things from getting worse. 

We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to center climate in our elections -- and that’s why we need to put our energy into supporting climate leaders up and down the ballot.

You don’t have to live in California to support these climate champions. The truth is, climate wins in California will be felt across the country -- cleaning up pollution and holding fossil fuel companies accountable benefits everyone.

We’ve been hard at work recruiting and endorsing candidates at the state and local levels from communities most impacted by climate change, candidates who we know will fight fiercely for our environmental future.

When it comes to running for office, even the smallest contributions have a huge impact. Every dollar given translates to more doors knocked, more calls made, and more votes secured for bold climate leaders.
