John,
There’s a lot of buzz around the Democratic National Convention right now, and for good reason.
People are feeling hopeful, especially with the change at the top of the ticket with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
This new leadership gives us a chance to imagine a different, better political future we all want – a future built on justice, equity, and real progress.
But while there’s plenty to be excited about inside the convention hall, what’s happening outside is just as important.
We can’t ignore the voices of those who are dissatisfied with the party’s stance on issues like the influence of Wall Street and other special interests, or the Biden administration’s handling of the atrocities in Gaza.
These voices are calling for a safer, fairer future for all of us, and national Democrats need to listen.
We aren’t just another campaign; we’re a community-grown movement dedicated to representing the needs of our friends and neighbors in CA-34. We need representatives who aren’t afraid to challenge corporate interests and who will fight for what truly matters to our community. Join us in the fight and contribute today!
Many community leaders and activists committed to holding the party accountable outside the convention are speaking out against politicians like our opponent, Jimmy Gomez.
They’re raising concerns about ties to special interests like healthcare companies, pharmaceutical giants, and weapons manufacturers, as well as right-wing donors who are more interested in preserving their own power than in fighting for the people.
These are the very forces that continue to undermine true progressive change, and it’s clear that Jimmy Gomez is more aligned with their interests than with those of our community.
That’s why I’m running for Congress in CA-34.
The policies being discussed inside the convention are promising, but real change will be driven by the power of the people outside, demanding more.
We have to make sure that no one is left behind, and that means listening to those calls for action and responding to them.
There’s a lot of hope right now, but we need to turn that hope into action. Let’s work together to build a future where everyone’s voice is heard and no one gets left behind. We can make this change happen, but it will take all of us. Help fuel our movement and make a contribution today!
It’s time for us,
David Kim
