John,
In the recent Primary Election, WCA-endorsed candidates had a 98% win rate. We’re also proud that we gathered over 21,000 pledges to vote!
Now it’s time to move into high gear to defeat I-2117.
We are working closely with the No-on-2117 campaign. A NO vote protects our air and water, forests and farmland, jobs, and transportation investments.
Help organizers meet the ambitious goal of reaching 70,000 households during our Summer Weekends of Action. WCA will be hosting several I-2117 leafletting events this coming weekend:
Issaquah Door-to-Door Leafletting: Sunday, August 25, at 11:30 a.m. [[link removed]]
Renton Door-to-Door Leafletting: Sunday, August 25, at 11:30 a.m. [[link removed]]
Yakima Door-to-Door Leafleting: Sunday, August 25, 10:00 a.m. [[link removed]]
If you can’t make one of these, there are other events across the state. Sign up here [[link removed]] to attend one near you!
Not seeing an event in your community? Join us for our virtual Call 4 Climate Action post-Primary Campaign Update and Phone Bank! [[link removed]] Washington Conservation Action is partnering with the No-on-2117 campaign to reach newly registered, young, and infrequent voters and turn them out to vote “NO” on I-2117.
Together, we are strong. Together, we will win.
Thanks for all you do,
Kat Holmes (she/her)
