New data from EDF show methane pollution from U.S. oil and gas companies is more than FOUR times higher than government estimates. This is a big problem and shows why we need methane detectors like MethaneAIR and MethaneSAT to hold polluters accountable.

If we can put the brakes on methane fast, we can reduce the frequency and intensity of extreme weather we’re experiencing now — severe floods, heat waves, hurricanes, wildfires and more. It’s a massive undertaking, and we can only do it with passionate members like you.

John, please chip in to our Summer Match today and triple your impact to help reduce global warming. Thanks to the $2-for-$1 match, your gift of $25 becomes $75... your gift of $50 becomes $150... and so on!

Your donation goes to work fighting climate change, reducing the impacts of extreme weather and protecting our communities from future climate risks. Together, we’re:

# Leveraging data from EDF’s methane-detecting satellite MethaneSAT to pinpoint sources of methane pollution with unprecedented precision, and then use that data to plug leaks and hold polluters accountable.
# Slashing methane pollution from the oil and gas industry — the fastest way to slow the rate of global warming this decade — by working with companies to cut emissions and protect the health of millions of people.
# Advancing the Dairy Methane Action Alliance, a group of global food companies — including Starbucks, Nestlé and more — committed to helping reduce methane pollution in their dairy supply chains.
# Working with farmers on science-based solutions to support a healthy planet by cutting methane pollution, making food production more sustainable, strengthening soil health, and conserving water and land.

We strategically focus on the work that makes the biggest impact — and it’s your support that gets the job done.

Please donate what you can today and triple your impact:
