Team, Bob’s note from yesterday is important. If you haven’t had a chance to read it, here’s the low-down:
First → The team made the tough decision to pull down Bob’s TV ads.
Then → We looked at the numbers, and if we raise $150,000 this week, we can go back up and re-launch our television ads.
Now → We’re asking folks to chip in what they can today to help us reach our goal. Team, can you add your first donation right now? We have to reach as many voters as possible before ballots are mailed in 59 days.
Thank you,
Team Ferguson

Subject: Team, this is a hard decision
Team,
This is not an update I want to send.
Due to budget constraints, our TV ads are not currently on the air. We made the tough decision to pull down our ads this month to save resources.
It’s never good for a campaign to “go dark” on TV, especially with less than 60 days until voting begins. However, we had to cut back spending based on our fundraising and budget constraints. Extending the amount of time we’re dark on TV means we run the risk of reaching fewer voters than we planned.
We can’t afford to scale back. Team, will you help us close the fundraising gap by contributing right now? If we raise $150,000 this week, we can re-launch our TV ads in media markets all across the state.
Anti-choice Republican Dave Reichert launched negative TV ads against me in the Primary. We know he will continue trying to distract voters from his extreme record.
It’s important for us to keep our ads on air so voters know the real Dave Reichert and share my positive vision for Washington. When we launched our first ad in June, we reached thousands of undecided voters in days, and we need to do that again.
This is urgent, team. Voting begins in just 60 days. Rush a contribution right now so we can put our ads back on the air.
Thank you,
Bob
