John, hello from the DNC! My team and I arrived in Chicago yesterday as things got underway and let me tell you the energy is wild. I haven’t seen many things like this in my career — and that was only night 1!
I’ve got to say, after many months (years) of negative media and an increasingly dystopian GOP creating an electorate fearful about the future— it is incredible to experience the hope and joy inspired by this ticket, all in one place with tens of thousands of folks from across the country.
This is exactly what we needed heading into the last ~80 days of this election.
Our platform delivers. Our ticket is bringing back the joy. Our party is unified. I’m feeling the hope! I want to know if you’re feeling it too.
As a Congresswoman in a battleground state and a critical district, the pressure is on to deliver. Not just for my campaign, but for the Harris-Walz ticket and for Democrats down the ballot and across PA who are fighting back MAGA opponents.
I don’t take my responsibility lightly; I know the consequences if my team doesn’t do our job getting on the ground, talking to voters, and turning out Southeast PA for Dems. But I know voters are feeling this energy, joy, and momentum spreading out from Chicago and across the country. We won’t let this moment go to waste.
