When she was running for president, one of Elizabeth's favorite things to do was calling grassroots donors to say thank you.

She talked with teachers, nurses, bus operators, and anyone who chipped in -- even just $1 -- to help grow our grassroots movement.

She got to hear what was on their minds and what issues pulled them into this fight.

Some politicians rely on focus groups or lobbyists to tell them where to stand, but Elizabeth fights from the heart. And her phone calls with grassroots supporters gave her another chance to hear about how to make our country work for working families.

Plus, it's always nice to get a chance to say thank you.
