Democrats Release 2024 Platform. It Still Says Joe Biden Is ‘Running To Finish The Job.’

The Democratic National Committee released its 2024 platform on Sunday just before the kickoff of the party convention in Chicago this week, and it still names President Joe Biden as the party’s nominee. The DNC said that the platform was passed by the Platform Committee on July 16, just five days before Biden announced the end of his campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. Democratic Party delegates will vote on the Biden-centered policy platform at the convention on Monday evening despite Democrats rallying behind a new candidate.
