There is less than one week left of our End of Summer 2X Match Challenge. That means your chance to make a gift that can go twice as far to fight Alzheimer's disease will end soon.
Don't miss out on making 2X the impact. Just look at how far your gift today can go:
This summer is filled with proof of the impact you can have:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved another treatment that could meaningfully change the course of the disease for some people living with early Alzheimer's. This exciting step gives more people more hope for more time, greater independence fuller lives.
Researchers at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference® 2024 reported how highly accurate blood tests can reliably detect Alzheimer's hallmark brain changes, which could signal a shift to less-expensive, less-invasive detection and diagnosis within primary care physicians' offices and may even provide a quicker path to treatment.
Progress like this simply isn't possible without our generous supporters. Without caring people like you. I hope you celebrate these achievements — and the hope they bring — with us. Then I urge you to turn your passion into action by making a gift to our End of Summer 2X Match Challenge to keep this research momentum going strong while also strengthening our vital care and support programs.
Every step of progress gives us a reason to push forward with even greater resolve. With multiple FDA-approved treatments now available, it is more critical than ever that we strengthen our early detection and diagnosis education and awareness efforts to ensure even more individuals receive the greatest benefit possible. But while promising to many, these treatments aren't the answer for everyone, and they're not cures.
We won't rest until everyone living with dementia of any kind —at any stage — can get the treatment, care and support they need and deserve. Until we reach that day, our fight is far from over.
We've seen tremendous progress this summer. But with Alzheimer's disease killing more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined, we have much work to do.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
