John, I just got off the stage at the convention. And, if you take one thing away from my speech, let it be this:

We are still in the battle for the very soul of America.

We face an inflection point. One of those rare moments in history when the decisions we make now will determine the fate of our nation and the world for decades to come.

And we must do everything we can to elect Kamala Harris as our next President of the United States.

Selecting Kamala as my running mate was the very first decision I made when I became our nominee. And it’s the best decision I made.

She's tough, she’s experienced, and she has enormous integrity.

Her story represents the best of the American story.

Kamala will be a president our children can look up to. A president respected by world leaders. A president we can all be proud of. A historic president who puts her stamp on America’s future.

I plan to be the best volunteer the Harris-Walz campaign has ever seen -- and I am counting on you to join me.
