Friend – President Joe Biden’s life has been dedicated to our nation. As he kicks off the Democratic National Convention today, Colleen and I send our gratitude and support to the president and the first lady, Dr. Biden.

Michigan is better because we have delivered an unmatched track record of accomplishments together. President Biden has been a model for delivering bipartisan results for the American people: renewing our infrastructure, lowering costs for families, and building a future where everyone can thrive. I thank him for his truly remarkable career of service to our nation.

But here's the deal: We have less than three months until the election. We must come together and unite to defeat Donald Trump and defend our Democratic Senate majority, which is one of the only things standing in the way of the MAGA agenda. Our democracy is on the line; it's as simple as that.
