Greetings from the DNC Convention, John.
From AFT to the New York State Nurses Association, I’m thrilled to see so many unions represented. At today’s opening Labor Caucus meeting, we heard from RWDSU President Stuart Appelbaum on how American workers are fired up like never before to organize, bargain collectively, and win fair wages for their families.

With AFT President Randi Weingarten.
It’s only the first day of Convention programming, and I’m already learning about how Democrats across the country are fighting for more affordable, safe, and livable communities.
But it also makes me think about what issues are on New Yorkers’ minds at home.
Now that I’ve launched my campaign for Mayor, will you please tell me which 3 issues matter most to you as a New Yorker? It’ll help inform my campaign strategy. [[link removed]]

Here are some of my highest priorities for building a safer, more affordable, better-run city:
Expand access to child care by undoing Mayor Adams’s cuts to 3K and pre-K. I’ll also fight to ensure that every parent or caregiver gets the parental leave they are entitled to.
Confront the affordable housing crisis by dramatically increasing the pace of affordable housing development, protecting tenants from harassment and displacement, and creating new pathways to home ownership.
Improve public transit and continue to champion congestion pricing to reduce traffic and carbon emissions, make our streets safer, and fund critical MTA projects.
I want to know which 3 issues matter most to you. Please fill out our post-launch survey today: [[link removed]]
