My name is Jacob Raiford, and I am honored to be the new Political Director at the Arizona Democratic Party. This is the role of a lifetime during what is America's most consequential election.

A little bit about me – I am a 20-year resident of Arizona, with an intimate understanding of its communities and history. As a results-driven organizer, I've championed policies and built coalitions around some of AZ's most important issues. If you remember me from 2020, you recognize how much I value unified efforts to get Dems elected. We stayed the course, stopped the red wave in '22, and here we are to finish the job in ‘24.

As Political Director, I will be focused on helping build coalitions across core voting groups in Arizona – Black voters, Latino voters, AAPI and Native American voters – and reminding them of all the things that are on the line this election, from reproductive rights to the future of our democracy. I am excited to spend the next 78 days talking to voters, bringing them into the big tent, and ultimately turning them out to vote.
