John, today officially kicks off the start of the Democratic National Convention.
This moment isn’t just about celebrating Biden’s leadership these last four years and the official Harris and Walz nominations. It’s also about passing the torch to a new generation, uniting around our shared values of democracy and freedom, coming up with ways to build on the progress we’ve made and highlighting what’s at stake this November – from the top of the ticket down to the bottom.
So far this year, Run for Something is supporting 518 candidates running for state and local elections across the country. And giving them our support in whatever way we can is crucial as we head into November.
By standing by them, we have the potential to make progress on the issues that matter most to Americans AND bolster support for the top of the ticket.
We’re so excited to see our candidates win their elections and all they’ll accomplish for our country and communities once in office.
