Here's how former President Trump's visit plays in our race:

Recent polls show Vice President Harris and former President Trump in a close head-to-head race here in Michigan — along with our race being a dead-heat.

If his previous comments are any indication, today we'll hear the former president attack service members, brag about appointing Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe vs. Wade, and maybe even call me a "Far Left Liberal Lunatic" again.

Trump knows what we know: there is no winning the White House or the Senate without Michigan. He also knows the better I do, the worse he does.

That means we can likely expect to see Trump in Michigan a lot more in the coming weeks. And National Republicans have already begun attacking me on the airwaves and pouring money into boosting our GOP opponent, Mike Rogers, in the Senate race.

With only 78 days left until the election, we’re at the point in the campaign where everything we raised immediately goes towards reaching voters through TV and digital ads, scaling our robust ground game, and investing in things like campaign literature and yard signs.

That means our online fundraising needs to keep up the pace, especially in big moments like this, if we are going to be able to fight back against the attack ads and outside spending and keep this seat blue in November.

It would mean a lot to our campaign if you would chip in and show your support before Trump takes the stage later today. The amount isn’t as important as the donation itself, because it will all add up fast when lots of people are chipping in.
