Trump will be in Howell, Michigan tomorrow for his second visit since formally accepting the Republican nomination and naming J.D. Vance as his running mate – and his 7th time since kicking off his 2024 campaign.

Howell also happens to be in my current Congressional district, and I’ll explain why that’s important in a moment.

Howell, Michigan is a historically conservative town I won by *13 votes* in 2022.

It's in Livingston County, a county that Trump won with 60% of the vote against Joe Biden last time around.

If you’ve followed any of our three campaigns, you've heard me say that a key objective for us is to "lose better." That means doing just a little bit better in the Republican-leaning areas of Michigan.

Howell, the place Trump is visiting, was at the heart of that strategy in my last election.

So it is no surprise that Trump and likely Mike Rogers will be there.

Because they know what I know: if I can "lose better" in places like Livingston, County -- we are going to win this Senate race, and we are likely to help Kamala Harris win as well.

That’s what we have to do, but I cannot do it alone.
