John, North Carolina’s future is on the line, and I couldn’t be more concerned about the direction we’re headed.

Due to the Republican supermajority in the state legislature, we’ve faced attacks on our rights and far-right extremist policies that are dragging North Carolina backward. Republican legislators have passed a restrictive abortion ban, undermined our democracy with anti-voter legislation, and attacked our public schools.

If my extremist GOP opponent Mark Robinson wins, he has pledged to accelerate this radical agenda.

Our race is a toss-up, John, and the choice comes down to choosing between my vision for a safer, stronger North Carolina OR the far-right future Robinson’s fighting for.

I’ve spent my career serving North Carolina — trying to make it an even better place for folks to live, work, and raise a family. I have seen that we can make progress on the issues that matter when people are willing to set politics aside and put in the hard work.

That’s not how Mark Robinson would govern. That’s why we cannot allow him to win the Governor’s Office.

Experts have called our race the most competitive and consequential Governor’s race of 2024. It’s the top Republican target.

Despite Mark Robinson’s extremism, national GOP donors have thrown their all behind him — spending over $10 million in our state attacking our campaign on television to try to defeat us.
