Friend --

I have good news! The Ranked Choice Voting Act (HR 4464) has won a spot as  finalist in Fast Company's 2020 World Changing ideas <[link removed]>, coming to newsstands May 5! A big thanks to Fast Company and HR 4464 sponsor Congressman Jamie Raskin.

In a year of exciting progress for RCV, this is a yet another win for everyone who cares about ranked choice voting and we hope you celebrate your own efforts to bring this reform to local, state, and national elections.

Our elections can be better: they can be fairer and more unifying. Our elected officials can represent who we are as voters, no matter what party we belong to.

No one should have to choose between the candidate they want and the candidate they believe is most electable. Everyone should have the right to list a second choice on their ballot.

Our systems are being challenged now more than ever before during the pandemic as well as our health and that of our friends and family. After we tackle Covid-19, we’ll be all the more ready to build better structures and systems,  including our electoral system that so urgently needs ranked choice voting.

We can start now. Join our movement, here is what you can do:

- Share <[link removed]>, or use our social media guide to post your own content <[link removed]>.
- Join our Week of Action May 3-9 <[link removed]> to bring RCV to presidential elections!
- Take action (if you haven’t already) by asking your U.S. Representative to support the RCV Act <[link removed]>.
- Make a donation. <[link removed]>

Every action you take today counts towards making a stronger electoral system that everyone can believe in.
