John — The Democratic National Convention kicks off tonight, and the energy is already off the charts. Voters from all walks of life are rallying behind a leader who’s serious about tackling the climate crisis head-on.

And we’re right there with them. Kamala Harris has an impressive track record on climate action, and it’s worth taking this moment to highlight it.

But before we dive in — can we count on you to split a contribution between the Harris campaign and our team at JanePAC? Your support will help elect Kamala Harris and more climate champions like her this November. [[link removed]]

Kamala Harris’s Biggest Climate Wins:

✅ As California’s Attorney General:

* Harris took on some of the biggest polluters in the country. She launched a groundbreaking investigation into ExxonMobil for misleading the public on climate risks and held Volkswagen accountable for emissions cheating, securing an $86 million settlement.

* She didn’t stop there. Then-AG Harris also took legal action against Plains All American Pipeline after a devastating oil spill in 2015.

✅ As a U.S. Senator:

* Kamala Harris was an early co-sponsor of the Green New Deal, pushing for bold action to achieve 100% clean energy by 2030 and fighting for environmental justice in communities long overlooked.

* She introduced legislation to get toxic lead out of our drinking water and to transition our schools to clean electric buses.

✅ As Vice President:

* VP Harris was instrumental in passing the Inflation Reduction Act, the most significant piece of climate legislation in recent U.S. history.

* On the global stage, she’s represented the United States at key climate summits, securing billions in climate aid for developing nations and spearheading initiatives to promote climate resilience and adaptation.

Now, here’s the thing: while we’re all pumped about Kamala Harris’s nomination, this is no time to sit back. We need to keep the pressure on her to go even further on climate action if she’s elected. This means supporting climate champions at every level, staying active in the movement, and demanding bold legislation that meets the urgency of the crisis we’re in.

Our collective action can ensure that climate justice remains a top priority, from the local level all the way to the White House.

None of this is possible without you, John. That’s why today we’re asking you to join us and split a donation between the Harris-Walz campaign and the Jane Fonda Climate PAC. Together, we can send this climate champion to the White House and ensure our leaders are held accountable in Washington and beyond. [[link removed]]
