John, I’ve known Kamala Harris for a long time. She was born here in Oakland and has been fighting for and with us for years. That’s why, when she ran for president in 2020, I was one of the first members of Congress to support her.

Why? Because I know what she stands for.

She’s committed to our democracy, women’s reproductive freedom, and our nation’s peace and security. I’d be proud to call her Madam President.
