John, as lawmakers and delegates gather in Chicago for the Democratic National Convention, I am counting on activists across the country to respond to Brady’s live poll NOW:

Hi John,
I'm writing to you as I am on my way to join activists and lawmakers at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, IL! I am thrilled to be a part of this momentous week but most of all, I am so encouraged to see gun violence prevention be a critical part of the conversation.
We are seeing the hard work that our movement has put in over decades come to fruition in front of our eyes as top candidates no longer shy away from talking about gun violence – in fact, they are making it a critical part of their platform. Our voices have the power to change our country for the better and must stay loud to continue to push our lawmakers even further.
Gun violence is not only an issue of life and death in our election – it is a winning issue. That’s why Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and so many other nominees are already talking about our uniquely American gun violence epidemic and what we have to do to finally address it and save lives.
As lawmakers, delegates (including some Brady staff!), and activists gather at the DNC, I’m asking all of our dedicated advocates across the country to respond to Brady’s live poll right now:
Please, tell us before this survey expires at midnight:
What issue is most important for lawmakers to address at the DNC?

Universal Background Checks [[link removed]]
Extreme Risk Protection Orders [[link removed]]
Ghost Gun Regulation [[link removed]]

Looking forward to your response, John.
