Our scorecard grades members of the Pennsylvania House and Senate on how often they voted for, or against, the environment during the last legislative session.
This session, we saw just how much it matters to have pro-environment lawmakers in control.
-
The State House is in pro-environment control. It passed 6 pro-environment and pro-democracy bills, and 101 lawmakers scored 100%.
-
The State Senate still has an anti-environment majority. It passed a whopping 9 pro-polluter bills and 28 lawmakers scored less than 50% by voting against the environment and democracy more often than not.
Explore our Scorecard and see if your legislators are putting you and your community – or major corporations and polluters – first.
Scores carry the most weight when Pennsylvanians know how their legislators voted: share our scorecard on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter), or forward this email to your friends and family so they can hold their elected officials accountable.
I’ve been looking forward to releasing our scorecard all session so that all Pennsylvanians could see the impact of having a pro-environment-controlled State House. Here are some of the most exciting policies voted on in the House:
-
Solar for Schools - PASSED and signed into law!
- Community Solar - PASSED the House
- EV Infrastructure Investment - PASSED the House
We need more legislators to stand up for the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the lands we love.
The best way to turn state lawmakers into champions is by showing them that you’re paying attention.
See how your lawmakers voted and help spread the word on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter), or by emailing our scorecard to your friends and family in Pennsylvania.
Thanks for all that you do to protect our water, air, and open spaces.
