Donald Trump said the quiet part out loud: He’ll ban abortion in Colorado and across the country if he’s elected in November.

Make no mistake: Trump’s plan — pulled straight from the Project 2025 playbook — would cause a de facto medication abortion ban in all 50 states. It would take away abortion access for millions of Americans and lead to more devastating consequences for women across our nation who are forced to proceed with pregnancies against their will.

Since Donald Trump’s judges overturned Roe v. Wade, we’ve heard so many disturbing, heartbreaking stories of women being denied access to the care they desperately need. Since 2022, at least 100 pregnant women in medical distress who sought help from emergency rooms were turned away or negligently treated — highlighting the sheer cruelty of these far-right abortion bans.

Every American deserves the freedom to access the health care they need without judgment, including reproductive care. But thanks to Donald Trump and his far-right allies, millions of women across the nation have been put into harm’s way — which is why I’m fighting back with everything I’ve got.
