This week, I am so excited to be with friends and fellow Democrats from all across the United States as we convene in Chicago at the Democratic National Convention. On Thursday night, Vice President Kamala Harris will officially accept our party’s nomination to be our candidate for President. She will be the first Black and South Asian woman selected to lead a major party ticket. And when she wins, she will be the first woman ever in the history of this country to serve as President.

While Trump and Vance cultivate extremely wealthy donors who support their Project 2025: Dictator on Day One Agenda, the Harris-Walz campaign and Democrats are focused on the issues that matter to working families across America: lowering healthcare costs, supporting a living wage, ensuring housing availability and affordability, protecting our environment, and giving everyone access to education and opportunity.

We’re 77 days away from Election Day and only 43 days away from the start of early voting. Be sure to check your voter registration, and join us as we make phone calls, canvass, and talk to friends and neighbors about why voting for the Harris-Walz ticket is so important.
