Do you know the last time a woman represented Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District?

Never.

In the 176 years since Wisconsin became a state, a woman has never represented this district. Not only is Kristin Lyerly the right voice to represent northeast Wisconsin in Congress and fight for reproductive rights and commonsense policies to support working families, this campaign has the chance to break a glass ceiling. But she needs our support to make it happen.

In the history of Wisconsin, in fact, we’ve only elected two women to Congress – and both of them are still serving today. But neither are from northeast Wisconsin.
