Have your support matched! No images? Click here John, Every year there is an important race for the environment where the winner comes down to hundreds of votes or less. And with the continued uncertainty around COVID-19 we know our work will likely look different this year than it has in the past. As we continue to work to elect environmental champions, we are keeping in mind that our leaders will be tasked with planning our recovery. We need leaders who will look toward actions that will lead us to a more sustainable and equitable future. We have many important State House and Senate races that will make a huge difference for Washington. Your support right now can mean the margin of victory in one of those close races this fall. We are already working to have the strongest possible slate of candidates for the environment across the state by recruiting candidates to run and making sure that the candidates who are already running know that the environment is still on voters’ minds. These races for State House and Senate are critical because they will determine who is making decisions on how Washington addresses the climate crisis, how we protect the health of our communities, what we do to restore our waterways, and how our economy bounces back from the impacts of COVID-19, and whether it is supporting workers and producing green jobs. In the coming weeks we will be announcing our endorsements and then working to get those candidates elected. But our ability to elect key candidates all over the state relies on the support we receive from you. Pitch in now. A gift today will make a difference in tight races this fall!
