John, do you remember Kim Davis? The county clerk in Rowan County, Kentucky, who refused to give marriage licenses to LGBTQ+ couples? Well buckle up, because she is back again. And this time, she's petitioning the Supreme Court to overturn marriage equality.
Kim Davis is trying to get marriage equality overturned by the Supreme Court
- The Advocate
Kim Davis is like a bad penny. But as we've seen, certain Supreme Court justices are very open to hearing her terrible views. Davis even says in her case that " Obergefell was wrong when it was decided and it is wrong today because it was based entirely on the ‘legal fiction’ of substantive due process, which lacks any basis in the Constitution." In his argument dismantling Roe , Clarence Thomas used this exact legal argument to go after the pro-LGBTQ+ cases. It's clear these bigots won't stop until we make them.
The right to privacy and bodily autonomy are under siege - and we can't let people like Clarence Thomas and Kim Davis strip away our rights.. We need leaders who will take action to keep anti-equality bigots OUT of our bedrooms and stop the assault on LGBTQ+ rights. Pitch in to help LGBTQ+ Victory Fund elect more strong LGBTQ+ champions for equality! [[link removed]]

It's clear extremist right-wing politicians and religious extremists like Davis are going to keep introducing these bills and spreading their hate. They WANT to force these bills into our court systems and dismantle years of pro-LGBTQ+ cases.
It's up to us to elect a new group of LGBTQ+ leaders who will pass pro-equality legislation and block hate-based bills. The candidates who win this year will decide who has access to healthcare. They'll decide who can get married, who can be out at work and whose stories can be told in schools. If you’re committed to electing these candidates, defending LGBTQ+ rights and preserving equality, pitch in here! [[link removed]]
