5 (More) Facts about 'Evangelicals for Harris'
by Joshua Arnold
A little-known group called "Evangelicals for Harris" hosted a virtual rally over Zoom on Wednesday. The organization made headlines simply for its surprising title; in 2016 and 2020, evangelicals voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump. A progressive newspaper said the organization "has sought to offer a counter narrative" by showing Vice President Kamala Harris, the democratic presidential nominee, gaining momentum among evangelicals. But a deeper dive into the organization suggests that not much has changed.

As the Taliban paraded captured U.S. military equipment through the streets of its capital city on the third anniversary of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, a congressman had a horrifying revelation. Price Controls Headline Harris Economic Agenda
by Joshua Arnold
The 1970s called, and they want their economic policies back. With Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris set to unveil her economic agenda in a speech this weekend, her campaign released a Wednesday night teaser in which price controls feature prominently. "Her timing is impeccable," quipped economist David Henderson. "She announced the price control policy on the eve of the 53rd anniversary of President Richard Milhous Nixon's August 15, 1971 price controls."

What's in a Pronoun? Harris Campaign Asks Job Applicants to Pick 'Neo-Pronouns'
by S.A. McCarthy
A common enough feature of job applications is a list of prior professional positions, and maybe a list of skills or characteristics a prospective employer might appreciate. Far less common are lists of "neo-pronouns," but that's exactly what Vice President Kamala Harris is looking for from prospective campaign staffers.

Apple Says Apps 'Should be Made by Everyone,' But Won't Let White, Asian Men Apply
by Sarah Holliday
"Go woke or go broke" has been the anthem of the Americans sick of controversial diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) measures being forced down their throats. Companies like Target, Bud Light, and Disney are prime examples of what happens when divisive ideologies are prioritized over profit and connecting with the consumer base. As these industry giants put a spotlight on transgender-identifying spokespersons and LGBT-centric children's attire, customers simply said, "No," and the boycotts commenced.

The Reasons behind the Command: 'Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem'
by Joshua Arnold
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem." Many readers have likely heard this exhortation from Psalm 122:6 before, which is found in Friday's reading in FRC's Stand on the Word Bible Reading Plan. But it's likely that far fewer readers have thought about the reasons behind this command or how it fits into the rest of the Bible.

New polling data is showing that former President Donald Trump maintains a commanding lead over his opponent among white, working-class voters. What If We Don't Receive What We Pray For?
by Sarah Holliday
Jesus said in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." It's a beautiful verse, and yet, there are likely many of us who follow Christ, pray in His name, but don't receive what we ask for. This, of course, makes reading a verse such as this one a tad confusing. I mean, how are we supposed to interpret it when we know there are occasions in which we don't get what we ask for in prayer? Does Scripture not say, "Ask, and it will be given to you?"
