Dear Friend,
Today is World Humanitarian Day, and we want to share with you a bit more about our humanitarian work—and why you are such an important part of our global humanitarian movement.
Since 1971, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has provided lifesaving medical care to people who need it most around the world. That’s five decades of humanitarian aid in action. In 1999, MSF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for our “pioneering humanitarian work on several continents.”
This tremendous honor is one we share with our entire global movement of supporters—including our compassionate donor community.
