Transgender people have come a long way in recent years, winning important rights and recognition as the regular, everyday members of society they are: parents, siblings, kids, coworkers, neighbors, friends.
But all this is now under threat. Extremist politicians have declared war on trans people. Recently, they unveiled their Project 2025, an abhorrent, anti-democratic screed that would force the LGBTQ+ community back to the dark ages. On its very first page, it raises the fist of hate at the “toxic normalization of transgenderism.”
That’s tough talk. But not tough enough. Because we, the vast majority of Americans who support trans equality, have bold new leaders who stride to the stage and fight for what’s just and right.
We have hardworking nonprofits like Advocates for Trans Equality, with boots on the ground and the fortitude to battle the bigots who write ranting manifestos like Project 2025.
And we have the CREDO Mobile community. In our June donations election, they voted to direct a significant grant to Advocates for Trans Equality.
To date, CREDO Mobile has donated generously to Advocates for Trans Equality and other nonprofits working for LGBTQ+ rights—and all human rights. These donations are generated by our members, just by using our service. They cost nothing extra, but they mean everything to the nonprofits that rely on us.
If you’re a CREDO customer, thank you for standing with us and with Advocates for Trans Equality.
