DEAR FRIENDS,

Over the last three years, SHARK has documented hundreds of hours of animals that include broken state laws and county permit violations across Boone County. We have provided an enormous amount of evidence to the State's Attorney's Office, the County Board, the Sheriff’s Department, the Building and Zoning Department, and Animal Services.

And what have all these Boone County Departments done with this evidence? Apparently nothing!

Rancho Las Rosas, the latest location we documented, violated permits by claiming they were putting on an animal show when they were actually putting on a concert, which is illegal in that area. In other words, they lied!

Neighbors of this property have begged the board to not allow more of these events. They tell us that the concerts are so loud it feels as if the loudspeakers are in their living rooms, and their walls shake.

We have proven that the “dancing horses” are just a ploy, as you can see in our latest YouTube video, "Illinois Dancing Horses Scam Exposed!"

Regardless of their constituants' misery, the board continues to hand out permits to scammers. The next event at this property will be September 15, 2024, and a SHARK team will be there.

We'll stay after these lawbreakers for as long as it takes.

Now we've learned that Rancho El Tepozan, in Capron, IL (also in Boone County) has requested another permit to abuse animals on August 31st, even though SHARK has already exposed this location five times for abuse!!!!

Horrendous animal abuse, broken state laws, refusal to use identifying numbers. The list goes on, which is why the SHARK team calls Boone County the most corrupt place we've ever dealt with.

Please email Chairmain Rod Riley at [email protected] and politely but firmly, tell him to stop this abuse!

Please support our ongoing efforts to clean up not just Boone County, but everywhere that is holding these horrifically cruel events, as well as our efforts to stop cockfighting, live pigeon shoots and other canned hunts, and many other issues.
