Kamala Harris announced that she's running for president of the United
States. People are tuning in to this election in a way they never have

Four weeks ago, the MoveOn team was having trouble recruiting folks to
host postcard writing parties for our target voter audiences. But last
week, we had to put a limit on how many parties could be hosted, because
our printing partner couldn't keep up with demand!
Over the past two weeks, MoveOn more than doubled our phone bank goal, and
the demand for stickers, T-shirts, and yard signs is through the roof.

* Empowering MoveOn members to reach out, one-on-one, to 1.5 million
voters through postcards, texting, and door-to-door conversations
about the issues that matter most.
* Collecting hundreds of testimonial videos from MoveOn members speaking
authentically about the stakes of the 2024 election, why they're
voting, and the candidates they're supporting. Then, we'll run ads
that show the most effective of these testimonial videos to the voters
who lean Democratic but vote inconsistently; these are the voters we
need to turn out to win in November.

noise with factual warnings about Project 2025 and other terrifying
plans that Donald Trump has for his second term and the tremendous
promise of a Harris presidency. About one-third of people under 30
regularly get their news from TikTok, and in an increasingly
fragmented media market, reaching voters where they are is critical.^1
Look, we all know what's at stake in this election. It's not just about
Democrats winning; it's about us protecting our country's democracy from
Trump, his MAGA cronies, and authoritarianism and hate. We've seen
firsthand how they divide us, undermine our institutions, embolden white
supremacists, and attack democracy and our rights and freedoms.
Trump is planning to create a false narrative of victory, even if he
loses.^2 He's openly stated his intention to reject the results if they
don't go his way.^3 One of his top supporters, Elon Musk, who owns X
(formerly Twitter), is posting political deepfakes that get hundreds of
millions of views.^4 All of this is a direct threat to our nation's
democracy.
We need to fight like hell to get every single voter to the polls who
believes in a better future—a future with affordable health care, quality
education, and economic justice for all.
The good news is that, right now, we have incredible momentum! People are
fired up; they're organizing; they're ready to fight for change. But
MoveOn needs the resources to reach people, get them the information they
need, and turn enthusiasm into action.
