OK, here’s a question that gets asked a lot, and it’s a completely fair one: What difference will $5 *actually* make to your campaign?
Well, it can make a pretty big one.
The most successful movements in our history have been people-powered – like-minded folks coming together to move the needle on things that seem really big, even untouchable.
The reason these people-powered movements work is that collective action is greater than the sum of its parts.
If one person reading this gives $5, that helps.
If 10 people reading this each give $5, that helps even more.
But if everyone who’s reading this email and cares about delivering Democratic victories in November decides to give $5, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.
(If you want to give $5 right now, you can donate here.)
Campaigns are expensive — because at their core, they are large-scale efforts to convince people to do things they might not otherwise do. Register to vote. Learn something new about a candidate. Mail back a ballot. Volunteer in your neighborhood.
Reaching and convincing enough people takes pretty serious money, especially when we’re in a time crunch (less than three months to go!).
But we can get there if we work together.
So how about it – will you join your fellow Democrats and donate $5 today?
