President Trump delivered a powerful speech. He laid out the key differences between him and Kamala Harris. The America First agenda means a thriving economy, no inflation, a secure border, safe streets, a robust domestic energy program, and peace through strength foreign policy. Before the rally, our great GOP Senate nominee Dave McCormick and I gave President Trump a gift. It was a framed picture of the graph President Trump presented in Butler County when a bullet nearly took his life. The President moved his head to reference the chart as he began to speak, saving his life. If the President didn't move his head to read the chart, he would have been killed. President Trump continues to say it's the greatest chart he has ever seen. Dave McCormick, Congressman Mike Kelly, and I were in the front row that day, and together, we presented the President with this gift.

Kamala Harris’ economic proposals would make Bernie Sanders blush. Her proposals demonstrate her complete ignorance of our economy and Americans' current situation. Despite her attempts to hide it, Kamala Harris’ support of trillions of dollars in excessive government spending led to explosive inflation and skyrocketing interest rates that devastated Americans. Instead of acknowledging these failures, she blames the private sector for the inflation caused by her actions, a claim even the New York Times has conceded is ridiculous.

Pennsylvanians know that Kamala Harris’ policies led us to our current dire economic situation. She has made it clear that she will double down on those same failed policies, seeking greater governmental control over the economy, which has spelled disaster throughout history. This week, we marked three years since the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, allowing the Taliban to seize power and take possession of billions of dollars worth of American military equipment. Since the withdrawal, the Biden-Harris administration has provided billions in humanitarian aid to the Taliban, despite the Taliban holding Americans, including Ryan Corbett, hostage and their enforcement of oppressive Sharia law. Thank you to the brave men and women who served in Afghanistan, sacrificing so much to keep our home and the world safe from the Taliban and Al-Qaeda for over 20 years, including the 13 U.S. service members who were killed and countless wounded during the botched withdrawal. The Harris-Biden border policies have made all of our communities less safe, allowing violent criminals like a Peruvian gang leader, who has murdered at least 23 people, to illegally enter the U.S. and live among us. This reckless approach puts every American at risk and highlights a disturbing lack of concern for our safety. We have a border crisis and Kamala Harris has done nothing about it as Border Czar. IN NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA: In the Harris-Biden economy, everything costs more, leaving Americans struggling to make ends meet. Since Kamala Harris took office, prices have surged, with the average American household feeling the brunt of these skyrocketing costs.

The latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) data reveals that inflation in July increased by 2.9% year-over-year, a rate that is twice as high as when Harris took office. Under her administration, inflation has averaged 5.3% annually—roughly double the level of inflation seen under any of the last four administrations.

Under the Harris-Biden administration, the cost of living has spiked, diminishing purchasing power and straining family budgets. Kamala’s dangerously liberal policies have not delivered the economic stability that Americans need.

American families know who to blame: Harris, Biden, and Democrats. According to a YouGov poll, Americans trust President Trump to handle the economy and inflation by a 14-point margin over Harris. Donald J. Trump has a proven track record of making this country prosperous and affordable, and Americans have confidence in him to put more money back in their pockets.

I visited the Harford Fair in Susquehanna County! During my visit, I caught up with State Rep. Jonathan Fritz and engaged with several local organizations, including Susky Ridge Youth Shooting Sports, the local 4-H chapter, and the New Milford Gun Club. I also met many constituents and discussed issues important to them, like rural broadband.

It was great to be in Columbia County for a Farm Tour organized by the Columbia County Farm Bureau! I had the chance to visit OHF Orchards in Bloomsburg, where owners Joseph and Pat O’Hara walked me through their farm operations. Afterward, we headed to the Millville Farm Market & Creamery to participate in a roundtable discussion with farm bureau members and staff. We met and connected with local supporters of Columbia County's agriculture industry, including County Commissioners Dean Brewer, Randy Karschner, David Kovach, State Representative Robert Leadbeter, Senator Lynda Schlegel-Culver, and Columbia County Farm Bureau members.

I enjoyed walking in the Grand Slam Parade in Williamsport to kick off the Little League World Series! It was great to have Ambassador Carla Sands join me, and we enjoyed meeting so many local Little League fans.

Be sure to cheer on Pennsylvania's Council Rock Newtown Baseball from Bucks County. They represent the Mid-Atlantic region for the U.S. and had a big win last night over a team from New Hampshire. You can tune in and catch the entire tournament on ESPN!

On Wednesday, I met with Ambassador Tom Lee, the Director-General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York and Head of the UN Affairs Task Force, who was in town for the Little League World Series. We discussed ways to advance support for Taiwan and Pennsylvania and explored opportunities for continued investment and collaboration between our nations.

On Wednesday evening, Roy Heim, Frank Schoeneman, and I hosted a fundraiser at Franks's beautiful home in Pottsville for Dave McCormick, who is running for U.S. Senate. Dave has been working hard across the state, delivering the important message that Pennsylvania needs new leadership. There’s only one right choice for Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senator, and that’s Dave McCormick.

On Thursday, I joined Coterra Energy for a roundtable discussion to showcase the strengths of our energy network in Northeast PA. By highlighting its reliability and efficiency, we're positioning our region to attract more data centers and other businesses, driving growth and opportunity for our community. Energy independence is not just an economic priority—it’s essential for our national security. Pennsylvania is home to the fourth-largest natural gas reserve in the world, which plays a key role in leading our nation back to energy dominance.

On Thursday evening, I was happy to attend Senator Lisa Baker's annual “Clam Baker” in Luzerne County along with Rob Bresnahan, who is running for Congress in the 8th Congressional District.
