I serve you on the U.S. House Agriculture Committee. I’m pushing for concrete and bipartisan solutions to lower grocery prices and make life more affordable.

For example, I worked with Kansas lawmakers in a bipartisan push to limit anti-competitive behavior in the meatpacking industry. Fair competition gives families more choices to shop for the best bargains and stops big corporations from taking advantage of folks.

I'm also working to pass a long-term, bipartisan Farm Bill. This legislation supports a strong agricultural supply chain for Kansas farmers and ranchers.

A stronger supply chain helps our agricultural producers grow their crops more efficiently, deliver their goods less expensively, and protect against costly disasters. That ultimately can help lower prices for families at the grocery store.
