Eugene Vindman for Congress

John — Last night, my twin brother Alex and I were on CNN to discuss the war in Ukraine.

While Ukraine fights to maintain its independence and defend itself against Putin’s invasion, MAGA Republicans in Congress refuse to defend our democratic values and freedoms abroad — where our support right now is needed most.

Eugene Tweet: When I go to a local VFW or American Legion, I hear from Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike that we need to stand up to dictators, like we did when we wore the uniform. MAGA extremists’ refusal to defend American values is dangerous. We need to protect freedom at home and abroad.

This issue is personal to Alex and me. Our family immigrated from Ukraine when we were just kids and it was many years later that Ukraine finally gained its freedom.

But we have also spent decades of our lives serving in Uniform, fighting to defend our democracy from threats foreign and abroad. So we know firsthand how important it is to defend Ukraine’s fragile freedom against Russian aggression.

The world is watching to see whether we will defend our democratic values, or allow authoritarianism to take root around the world.

When I’m in Congress, I will stand up for America’s allies like Ukraine — and stand against the far-right Republicans who have no problem handing this war over to Putin.

👋🏻 Wait... don’t go just yet! 🇺🇸

We’re less than 80 days away from Election Day, and Eugene’s MAGA opponent has been pummeling him with attacks. So we need a flood of resources to take on our opponent, Donald Trump, and the GOP, who are looking to flip this highly competitive seat.

If everyone reading this gave $3 right now, we’d have the resources we need. Please, chip in here today.
