Hey, it’s Mandela. I wanted to send you a quick note while I get ready for tomorrow. It’s going to be a big day.

That’s because tomorrow morning the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Chicago, and I’ll be there to take part in this important moment for our party and our democracy.

The convention will cement the Democratic presidential ticket and the policy platform that we’re committed to fighting for. We’ll hear from Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and dozens of rising changemakers from around the country.

But if you drive just over an hour north from the DNC in Chicago, you’ll cross the border into my beautiful state — Wisconsin.

Now, I’ve sent you a few emails recently highlighting how pivotal Wisconsin will be in November. That’s because it can’t be stressed enough that Wisconsin will decide who wins the presidency — and we will help decide who controls the Senate come January, too.

That’s why while I’m in Chicago, The Long Run is going to continue to support pro-democracy candidates up and down the ballot who can build our momentum and turn out the voters we need to win in Wisconsin.

So, with less than 80 days now until election day, I’m asking you:
