There is a very good chance you didn't wake up this morning and think to yourself, "Today is the day I am going to make a donation to the Democratic National Committee."

Fair enough.

But we hope you will make that donation before you go to sleep -- especially if you want to elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats across the country this fall.

Here's why:

Donations in a few weeks -- when we're in the home stretch of this campaign -- are important. But to be totally upfront, donations today, in the weeks before people will cast their first ballots, are even more important.

We have very real fundraising goals to hit before early voting starts. And for every goal we miss, there are difficult spending decisions we have to make, including cuts in key states.

We don't want to do that. So we are asking:

Can Democrats running for office everywhere count on you to contribute directly to the DNC today? Help us reach our fundraising goals and we will put your donations to work to reach the voters we need to win in November.
