Friend,
Dave Sunday, the Republican nominee for Pennsylvania Attorney General, continues to try to sidestep questions about abortion, but has made it clear he would not defend reproductive freedom as Attorney General.
For months, Sunday has dodged detailed questions on abortion, one of the most fundamental issues in the upcoming election. But the squirmy answers he has given indicate he would defend an extreme abortion ban in Pennsylvania and even leave the door open to prosecuting doctors.
He claims his personal opinion isn’t relevant to his role as AG, but don’t be fooled: If elected AG, Sunday would enforce any dangerous ban politicians put in place, regardless of how much he tries to dodge the question on the campaign trail.
States like Pennsylvania are expected to have extremely close AG races this year, and we need all hands on deck in order to defeat the GOP and protect abortion rights. Will you pitch in $5 today to help us elect Dem AGs in November? [[link removed]]
