As a top battleground state, the pressure is on to ensure that voters are ready to turn out and vote on Election Day. There is a lot at stake – beyond what happens on the top of the ticket. FOUR seats would change the majority in Pennsylvania. That is why we are working hard to ensure every eligible person in Pennsylvania is registered to vote, centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth (17-34 year-olds). But we need your help.
Here’s the thing: It costs us approximately $50 to register a single voter (which is below the ecosystem standard in 2024). This is what it costs because we don’t just collect voter registration applications. We have a paid and well-trained staff to do this work. We put all applications through a rigorous quality control process to ensure they turn into voter registrations, and we utilize technology to mobilize our centered communities to the polls.

We recently received a question regarding the cost of registering Pennsylvanians to vote. We want to take a moment to answer that question and provide you with some more context.
It costs us approximately $50 to register a single voter (which is below the ecosystem standard in 2024). We don’t just collect voter registration applications. In addition, applications go through a rigorous quality control process to ensure they turn into voter registrations, and we utilize technology to mobilize our centered communities to the polls.
There is so much at stake this election, it’s never been more important that you help us reach our goals to register as many Pennsylvanians as possible.
