Howdy John,
Tomorrow kicks off the first day of the Democratic National Convention, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ll be joining Colorado’s 86 other delegates who are ready to formally nominate Kamala Harris as our Presidential nominee and Tim Walz as our Vice Presidential nominee, vote on our platform, and more.
As you likely know, the road to this convention has been long, difficult, and unpredictable – but we’ve made it.
In Chicago, our party has a chance to celebrate, come together, and turn the tremendous momentum we’ve had the past couple of weeks into a movement that will carry us all the way to November so long as we do the work. As the late great Pat Schroeder said, “You can’t wring your hands and roll up your sleeves at the same time.”
So, with less than three months to go until Election Day and even less time before voting starts, we are committed to winning this election. We need to keep up the energy, keep up the fundraising, reach as many voters as we possibly can, and WIN this election.
