Afghanistan, three years later: This week marks the third anniversary of the fall of Kabul and the botched 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan. The Biden-Harris administration ignored the advice and warnings from commanders on the ground and accelerated the time line for withdrawal in order to score a political "victory" by leaving the country in time for the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
Tragically, we lost 13 United States servicemembers in the Abbey Gate suicide bombing on August 26, 2021.
