**Senior Educational Psychologist (Early Years) 0.8 FTE (with a strong possibility of a 1.0 FTE post being available)
Soulbury Scale B 3-6 (50,159 - 55,040 FTE, pro-rated for for a part-time post) plus 3 SPA points. Existing SPA points will be honoured. Full time and Part time applications are equally welcomed*

We are delighted to invite applications for the role of Senior Educational Psychologist with a particular focus on the Early Years. The successful applicant will be a manager within the Educational Psychology Service as well as the manager/team leader of the EY SEND Home Visiting Team.
Our psychologists are reflective practitioners who use creative problem solving to improve the lives of children and young people in Nottingham City. We are a warm and friendly team who value the contribution of all EPs in shaping the service.

Strengths of the* *service*
We use psychology in creative and dynamic ways. We employ a range of psychological processes in our work such as PATHs/MAPs, Circle of Adults, Dynamic Assessment, Soft Systems Methodology.
Our EPs have been central to the development of the Roots to Inclusion (R2i) programme for schools which is supporting schools manage challenging behaviour and is key is reducing school exclusions.
We operate a Consultation model of service delivery with a clear emphasis on creative problem solving.
EPs work in a culturally vibrant and diverse city which is reflected in the school population.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything that we do.
EPs are encouraged to develop areas of interest that are relevant to the service.

*Essential Requirements:

*Applicants need to be fully qualified Educational Psychologists registered with HCPC
It is expected that applicants will have at least two years experience practising as an Educational Psychologist
